BuddyPress Post from Anywhere puts the BuddyPress activity composer on any page of your site, not just the activity directory and member profiles. Drop the “Post From Anywhere” block into a page in the block editor, or use the [bppfa_postform] shortcode, and logged-in members can share an update right where they already are.

The plugin renders the native BuddyPress “what’s new” form, and BuddyPress itself handles the posting, so updates land in the activity stream exactly as they would anywhere else. It requires BuddyPress or BuddyBoss Platform with the Activity component enabled.

Two ways to place the form
* The “Post From Anywhere” block for the block editor, site editor, and template parts, with wide and full alignment plus margin and padding controls.
* The [bppfa_postform] shortcode for classic editor pages, posts, widgets, and theme templates.

* Four contextual notices instead of an empty space: logged out, BuddyPress or BuddyBoss inactive, the Activity component turned off, and no permission to post.
* Inline feedback messages that announce to screen readers, with the form marked busy while posting.

* Explicit dark mode for BuddyX 5.1+, BuddyX Pro, and Reign 8+, driven by the theme’s own color tokens.

What’s New in 1.5.8

Version 1.5.8 adds the “Post From Anywhere” block, so you no longer need a shortcode to place the composer. The block renders through the same code as the shortcode, so the two are interchangeable. This release also makes rtMedia and MediaPress uploaders work on shortcode and block placements, and adds explicit dark mode for BuddyX and Reign.
