This plugin serves two main purposes: providing limited access to WooCommerce data and embedding the Virtual Assistant widget into the WordPress website. The first function of the plugin is to provide secure access to specific WooCommerce data, such as product information and shipping statuses, from the byNeural platform. Only public product details that are already visible on the WooCommerce website are accessible. To access shipping statuses, the order ID and an access key must be provided, ensuring that only the customer who placed the order can retrieve this information. The plugin requires the WordPress user to enter an access key in the plugin’s settings panel. This key is used to authenticate and enable secure access to WooCommerce data exclusively via requests that include the correct key in the URL. This design ensures privacy and exclusive use of the information. The second function of the plugin is to embed the byNeural AI Virtual Assistant widget into the WordPress website. The plugin injects a script hosted on byNeural’s server, enabling the Assistant to be displayed and used directly on the site. **Note**: This plugin loads a remote script (https://static.byneural.es/dist2/bundle. js). On stores that keep orders in the classic WordPress posts storage (High-Performance Order Storage disabled), any order number, even an invalid one, returned the store’s most recent order. An order is now only returned when its ID or order number matches the one requested; otherwise nothing is returned. * Added: order responses now include the order ID and order number so the Assistant can confirm it received the right order. #### 1.2.2 * Added: products now also send the store’s own identifiers for their categories, brand and attributes. The Assistant can build filtered catalogue links that match the shop’s real filters instead of guessing them from names, which failed when two categories shared a name or a filter was translated. #### 1.2.1 * Fixed: product attributes were sent empty. A variable product listed its attribute names (size, fabric) but none of their values, so the Assistant could not tell a customer which sizes the shop sells. * Added: products now include their variations, each with its own price, SKU and stock. The Assistant no longer quotes the product’s starting price for a size that costs more. #### 1.2.0 * Added: products sent to the Assistant now include every category branch they belong to, not just one. A product filed under several categories at once was previously visible in only one of them when browsing or searching. * Added: the product brand is now detected from the common brand taxonomies and product attributes, so the Assistant can answer questions about brands. * Added: the theme’s search bar is marked up so the Assistant can enhance it, including the block editor and WooCommerce product search blocks. * Improved: orders are now resolved by the order number the customer actually sees. On stores using a custom order-numbering plugin, looking an order up by that number returned nothing or, worse, a different order. * Added: order tracking reads a free-text tracking field filled in by hand when the store does not use a tracking plugin. * Improved: the settings screen now uses `wp_die()` when the security check fails. * Fixed: the NACEX table lookup escaped the table name so it can no longer match a different table. #### 1.1.0 * Fixed: the widget markup and assets are no longer output on admin requests. On some stores this could interfere with the WooCommerce product editor and leave the admin screen unusable. * Improved: the widget script is now loaded after the page `load` event instead of being enqueued directly, so it no longer competes with the page’s own resources and does not affect render-blocking or LCP. * Added: automatic WP Rocket compatibility.
