The login page gets excluded so that you can login if necessary.

- Activate Plugin to Put Website/Blog on Maintenance and Deactivate to Disable
- Login URL (domain/wp-login.php) is Excluded and Also Logged in User (who can edit posts) are Excluded from Maintenance
- No Data is Taken and Collected, This is a Free Plugin, No Paid Plans and No Charges to Use it.

Very simple and lightweight plugin. You need it if you don’t need the unnecessary hassle and fuzziness in coding and if you want to keep your website as simple as possible.

A simple and powerful plugin. It does just what it says and is a simple and effective way to keep a site in maintenance mode while getting maintenance work done or until a first launch. Nothing fancy.
I really like this plugin.
