It answers shoppers’ questions in a chat bubble on your storefront, using your own knowledge, and once you connect your store it can look up their orders too. Setup takes a few minutes and needs no API keys and no code. Install the plugin, click **Connect eesel**, sign in and pick your agent. #### What the AI chatbot does * **Answers shoppers on your storefront.** The eesel chat bubble appears on your store and answers from the knowledge you’ve given your agent in eesel. * **Looks up orders.** Connect your store and the AI customer support agent can answer “where’s my order?” questions from your WooCommerce orders. * **Keeps you in control.** Refunds and order status changes are held for your approval before they run. * **Looks like your brand.** The bubble’s name, welcome message, colour and suggested questions are all set in your eesel dashboard. #### How it works 1. **Connect eesel.** Open the eesel AI menu in WordPress, click **Connect eesel**, sign in and pick an agent. 2. **Connect your store.** Click **Connect your store**. WooCommerce shows its own approval screen. When you approve, WooCommerce sends the access straight to eesel, so you never copy API keys and the plugin never sees them. 3. **Go live.** The chat bubble is on by default. You can turn it off any time under** Storefront chat bubble** in the plugin’s settings. #### Requirements * An eesel account (sign up at [eesel.ai](https://www.eesel.ai)). * WooCommerce 7.0 or later. * To connect your store: pretty permalinks (Settings Permalinks) and HTTPS. The settings page tells you if either is missing. ### External services This plugin connects your site to eesel AI, a third-party service. It doesn’t work without an eesel account. * **eesel API (oracle.eesel.app).** When you click Connect eesel, the plugin registers your site with eesel and receives a workspace token and your chosen agent’s chat bubble ID. It sends your site’s URL and a random secret that proves the site is yours. It also checks your agent’s public name to show on the settings page. * **eesel sign-in (dashboard.eesel.ai).** Your browser is sent here to sign in and pick an agent. * **WooCommerce store access.** When you click Connect your store and approve on WooCommerce’s screen, WooCommerce sends store API keys directly to eesel, so the agent can look up orders. The plugin never handles the keys. * **Chat bubble (cdn.eesel.ai).** On your storefront, the plugin loads eesel’s chat widget from cdn.eesel.ai. Install and activate the plugin from Plugins Add New. 2. Open the **eesel AI** menu in your WordPress admin. 3. Click **Connect eesel**, sign in and pick an agent. 4. Click **Connect your store** and approve on WooCommerce’s screen. ## FAQ ### Do I need an eesel account? Yes. The plugin connects your store to an eesel agent. You can sign up at [eesel.ai](https://www.eesel.ai). ### Do I need to copy API keys? No. You approve access on WooCommerce’s own screen, and WooCommerce sends it straight to eesel. The plugin never sees the keys. ### Can the AI agent change orders on its own? No. It can look up orders, but refunds and order status changes are held for your approval before they run. ### Can I turn off the chat bubble? Yes.
