Flex Fields is a WordPress plugin that allows users to easily add custom meta boxes for post types, page templates, taxonomies (including tags), user profiles, and Global Options. These custom meta boxes can be utilized in code using the flex_field() and flex_option() functions.

Location rules now use ACF-style AND within a group and OR between groups, including post ID, user role, and user form.
Multiple field groups on one screen save together. Taxonomy values keep HTML. Global Options use the edit_pages capability.
Polylang option keys are flex_field_{groupId}{name}{lang}, with a one-time copy from the old key.
Required fields, unique names, and conditional logic are included. Settings (dev mode and Polylang) are always available.
REST meta, post revisions, user profiles, non-hierarchical taxonomies, and Global Options JSON export/import.
