- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/, or install it directly from your WordPress admin under Plugins Add New. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu.
- Go to the new Fuse Social menu to configure your icons and share buttons. If you’re upgrading from an older version, you’ll be prompted to review your imported settings first.
- Use the shortcode, widget, or Gutenberg block to place share buttons anywhere, or leave the floating bar to work automatically.

Will I lose my settings when I update to version 6.0?

No. The first time 6.0 runs, it automatically detects your existing profile links, icon style, and colors from the earlier version and imports them for you. You’ll see a one-time review screen confirming exactly what was imported before you save anything — your site keeps working throughout.
