But in 2017 we ran into a new challenge when more and more WordPress users started using Tidio Live Chat. #### Why to Use Live Chat? According to Neil Patel, Live Chat increases conversion rate by 45%. And we can verify this data ourselves as we use Live Chat on our own WordPress website. Customers just love it! But Live Chat widgets are known to slow down websites. We speed up thousands of WordPress websites every month and thus we soon realized that we needed a solution to the Slow Live Chat Widgets. #### Why this plugin? A lot of Our customers wanted to use Tidio Live Chat and still wanted a very fast website. This is when our team got together one Sunday to discuss a possible solution and we found a great idea. This plugin is a result of that idea. For more than a year, we kept this plugin within our own company and used only for our own customers. But we realized that we could help a lot more WordPress users by just realising it publicly. And giving back to WordPress community has always been our objective. So, here we present you our secret idea 🙂 If you want to use Tidio Live Chat and still want a very fast WordPress website, then just use this plugin. #### Features: * Enable/Disable Chat Without Deactivating Plugin * Change the Delay Time for chat to Show * Disable Plugin for Admins & Logged in Users for Better Page Builder Experience * Ability to Exclude Chat on Specific WordPress Pages #### How KP Fastest Tidio Chat compares with other chat plugins? Tidio has officially released a Chat plugin. It’s great but it lacks the speed angle that we are hitting with our plugin. You can use the Official Tidio chat plugin and our plugin and compare website speed using GTMetrix or Pingdom or Google Pagespeed Insights. The speed (load time) and scores with our plugin are higher. The great thing is that our codes can be combined and minified by Popular caching plugins like WP Fastest Cache, Autoptimze, WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache etc. ### License ``` Copyright 2018-21 Kreativo Pro This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. A good dead idea. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/cb2e034c6cdc2ba32411c77f9b0a564d8505e0b51a4307dbe2581c4b93542b62? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Works Great… until it doesn’t](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/works-great-until-it-doesnt-3/)󠁿 [docfx](https://profiles.wordpress.org/docfx/) 2022년 2월 3일 Installed this because it DID prove to be a bit faster than the OEM plugin. Then WP had updates and it seems that this has fallen out of sync. WP is now up to v 5.9.x and the last tested version for this plug was 5.6.2 although it suggests its compatible up to v5.7.5. Arguably, it seemed to work even at WP v 5.8.1, but shortly after that around WP v5.8.3 the wheels fell off. At checkout, users started experiencing an apparent conflict w/ the auth.net woo payment gateway plugin and caused a particularly nasty dialog screen to appear making users skittish about completing the order. Unfortunately, the problem was intermittent and threw no PHP errors. And it was made harder to isolate as there were actually two plugins causing similar fails post november 2021 updates to WP. We eliminated the other plugin, but took us a while longer to isolate this issue. If you're using auth.net as a gateway, you might want to avoid until it gets updated. As I said, worked, until it didn't. If you're not using woo/auth.net you might be ok. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/1ab8f7bc1d668b454820751c35c372bef8e10ed2545e043d79578130b42ecdbf? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Much better than the official plugin](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/much-better-than-the-official-plugin/)󠁿 [RockSolid Design](https://profiles.wordpress.org/cfmwebdesign/) 2021년 2월 24일 답글 1개 This plugin is much better than the official one.
