- Upload
plugin-name.phpto the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to the users part and select the user that you wish ban and then edit that user and find Lock User Account part and select Locked or Unlocked option from Account status.
- This will work for any other users you want.

I installed it on a new website and it doesn’t work anymore 🙁

Works with WordPress 6.1.1. A user-definable message that the user is banned after the log in attempt would be great.
