This plugin did work for wordpress but not for WooCommerce. I contacted the author to know if it was possible to support WooCommerce too. he done! For security reasons was it for me important to remove the ability to login using the email address in place of the username, and this plugin solved this in only one step (just install it and forget it). It works fine on WP 4.5.3 and runs without any conflict beside 18 other plugins.
