**About the AI content wizard / AI Agent (optional):** When — and only when — you
use the AI wizard or AI Agent inside wp-admin to draft a webinar, registration page,
or reminder emails, the plugin sends your request to the WebinarIgnition AI relay(
hosted on Fly.io, default endpoint https://wi-node-ai-relay.fly.dev), which forwards
it to an international AI model provider based in the USA (for web-research tasks
a second international provider is used). What is sent: the text you type, the structured
webinar concept you build in the wizard (goal, audience, topic, title, tone, speaker/
guest names, key points and notes, video URLs, schedule), your WordPress site domain
and site URL, plugin version, license plan, and your own WordPress profile display
name and bio (used to personalize copy). No attendee, registrant, or lead data (
participant names, emails, chat messages) is sent to the AI relay. Why: to generate
the webinar copy, pages, and emails you asked the wizard to write. The API keys
live on the relay, never in your WordPress install. The AI writing and conversation
guidance itself (the prompt instructions that make the copy good) is served by the
relay as part of that same service and is not stored inside the plugin; the plugin
keeps only a short offline fallback so the free build stays usable without it. This

Back in the day, this was a good option, but now there are much better options out
there. Difficult to use, webinars take far too many steps to set up and that doens't
even include doing the webinars themselves. You can't even see who has registred
unless you go with the premium option (?!). Often buggy with pages not loading and
managing a large library of webinars is a nightmare. We tried multiple times to
sort out page loading issues but needed to move to a solution that we could launch.
We moved on to Vimeo which offers built-in registrations (that you can view), registration
confirmation and reminder emails and even how long registrants watch the webinar
and where people drop off. A much better overall value.

**The assistant can now write and change far more of your webinar, your colours
follow you onto the site and into mail, the live room gained a second video provider
and a truly tappable mobile button, card payment moved to the modern Stripe interface,
and the package got leaner.** Everything since 4.16 rolled into one read — grouped
by topic, not by version number. Everything is additive: nothing to reconfigure,
what you have stays.

#### What’s in it for you
**You spend less time preparing and less time fixing, and your attendee has a smoother
path to the offer.** The assistant tells you the truth about what it changed (and
what it did not), your colours stay readable on every surface, your package stays
lean and updates cleanly, and your live room fits your event. Same effort from you—
more of the webinar that actually reaches people.
#### The AI assistant (Mini agent and MCP)
* **It writes your thank-you and replay copy** — headline, subheadline, ticket
lines, Add-to-Calendar buttons, countdown labels, the webinar-URL choice, the
closed/time-over replay text, and the “About this session” info block in the
room and on the replay page are all read- and writable through the assistant,
even where the classic UI hides them.
* **It checks its own work** — when it says a setting is saved, it has read the
value back from your webinar first. It never claims a change it did not deliver
as a structured field plus a confirmed read-back.
* **Mail changes come as a real draft** — any mail wish (writing, rewriting or
regenerating the confirmation or reminder mails) answers with a real draft next
to the sentence; prose alone is not accepted.
* **It asks before sending anything sensitive** — paste a card number, an IBAN,
an ID number, or a list of contacts into the chat and it stops and asks first,
before that reaches the AI provider. Ordinary text, including names, is never
held up.
* **It says plainly what it cannot do** — for a wish it provably cannot execute
here (for example a survey on the thank-you page, or connecting an outside system),
it says so in one short line, names what it can change right here, and hands
you to the Studio as the honest next step.
* **It never invents a link or a state** — a deleted webinar is reported plainly,
and stored dates, ids and status are read from the database, never guessed.
* **It names the field it means** — confirmations never print a raw field key (“
ty_calendar_google”) again, only the plain label. Legacy fields (ty_share_*,
the SMS fields, use_new_email_notiff_*_template) are named in one sentence and
left alone.
* **A colour request is applied right away** — when the host names a colour, a
role and a hex value in one sentence, the server writes it deterministically
instead of asking for the wording.
* **Honest answers when the AI is briefly unavailable** — a short provider overload
or rate limit is explained plainly, with confirmation that nothing was deducted
from your usage. The assistant answers in your own admin language.
* **Import legacy webinars as a new webinar** — in the Studio a legacy (HC) webinar
is selectable as a source; the agent asks once, clickable, what should happen
to the old one: **delete it and reuse the URL** (create new permanent 301 oldnew
only then delete), **keep both**, or **adopt your own pages** (your real registration/
thank-you pages are taken over instead of base templates with placeholders).
No import runs without that answer. The import empties absolute foreign URLs,
normalises `hc`/`legacy` markers to `gb`, and never overwrites a working page
with a shortcode-less legacy page — an honest message instead.
* **The assistant’s guidance is served from the AI service** — the writing and
conversation guidance travels from the WebinarIgnition AI service, so the free
download stays lean; if the service is unreachable, a short built-in fallback
keeps the assistant working.
* **Invitations for every channel** — Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram and YouTube
now get the same detailed writing guidance as email, Facebook and WhatsApp (right
length, right tone, image prompt, link-in-bio hint).
#### Colours, contrast and mail
* **Fixed colour roles instead of single colours** — surface, ink, heading and
CTA are derived from four host colours as semantic roles; templates read only
the WI slugs, and existing webinars are migrated.
* **The Site Editor colours follow** — changing your brand colours also updates
the active block theme’s palette (background, text and the button), and on Twenty
Twenty-Five keeps the semantic shades and text tokens.
* **Emails can differ from the site** — a new email target writes only the email
template colours and switches “emails follow the site” off by itself, so the
written colours really take effect.
* **Contrast protection on write and on display** — a WCAG check corrects only
what is genuinely below AA, scoped to WebinarIgnition; countdown tiles stay transparent.
* **Every value is checked before it is written** — a bad value (a wrong hex, an
impossible number, a made-up field value) is refused once, up front, with the
expected shape — nothing half-written. Whole-number settings have a real upper
bound.
#### Publishing, packaging and reliability
* **Publishing from the chat fixed** — the canonical write value is passed and
the gate normalises it back; publishing while registration is running now goes
through, and a “Done: live/published” close names open red items instead of claiming“
finished”.
* **The room switch is a real switch** — the server tells the client what it actually
switched (master/room, from–to), so an “Undo” button is possible, and every phase
change is rate-limited because participants see it at once.
* **Leaner and stable at the provider** — the large kernel is split so the Freemius
preprocessor no longer runs out of memory, the premium guards are nested correctly,
and the free build packages fully again.
* **The package is smaller** — the bundled Stripe library is gone and language
files no longer ship inside; the language of the page or webinar is fetched once
and stored locally. English is always on board; without a network it stays on
English and nothing breaks.
* **The update check survives slow hosts** — the Freemius timeout was raised, and“
Check again” always loads the real SDK so a fresh release appears immediately.
* **Correct dates** — the German default date format renders its weekday as a weekday
again in the admin preview and the evergreen dropdown, and the date placeholder
adapts to the sending channel (MCP: day form, public page: spelled out).
* **The learning log and your feedback actually arrive** — the AI relay gets the
site-bound token with every learning-book and feedback call, so entries are stored
instead of refused.
* **Read before you write** — `wi_get_colors` reports whether an email override
is active and whether the site palette is writable; short links carry per-link
stats; the Mini agent payload carries the live-room CTAs; one invitation call
can create one link per source (e.g. 1 WhatsApp + 3 Telegram groups).
#### The live room
**Works automatically. Nothing to reconfigure.**
* **Daily.co or 100ms as the live-room provider** — pick 100ms (as before) or Daily.
co per webinar; credentials (API key + domain) are stored once site-wide and
the webinar creates its room on save. Existing 100ms webinars are unchanged;
the setup checklist recognises a Daily.co webinar like a 100ms one.
* **Modern live room only** — the legacy hardcoded room is gone. Every attendee
lands in the same modern room you preview from admin, and the admin preview matches
the room.
* **The live room has a fixed order** — one header, a fixed CTA frame, the prompter
bar on top, controls left and right. The overlay button sits correctly at the
page end and the CTA scroll hands over cleanly.
* **A truly tappable mobile action button** — on mobile the overlay CTA was partly
covered by the header (9 of 15 taps); now every tap lands (15 of 15).
* **Nothing pops up over your live room** — site-wide translate widgets and cookie
banners stay off the live and replay pages, so nothing floats over your video
or your call-to-action. Registration and thank-you pages keep theirs.
* **Nothing from the rest of your site floats over the video**, and the video sources
behave: YouTube `/live/` links play, a playlist or unusable link shows a
clean “no playable video” state instead of a black room, and a host’s own iframe
embed is left untouched.
* **Two-way Q&A and chat** — questions do not get lost, chat refreshes without
a full reload, Q&A status can be shown/hidden, and the console’s known write
paths are used.
#### Before you go live, mail and follow-up
* **Guests land where they can act** — a visitor arriving without a valid registration
link sees the registration form instead of an empty page, and a confirmed attendee
goes straight into the live room the moment you switch it live.
* **Evergreen reminders keep the right hour** — evergreen signups store their time
in a timezone-safe form, so reminder emails go out at the hour the attendee expects,
whichever timezone they registered from.
* **Sign-ups work everywhere** — registration no longer loops on installs in a
subfolder (for example example.com/wp/), and signing up no longer waits for the
whole mail queue to clear before the visitor’s browser moves on.
* **The reminder checklist matches what actually sends** — the dashboard readiness
list and the assistant check the same status your reminder emails use, so they
stop suggesting you add reminders that are already going out.
* **See a stuck mail job before a guest complains** — if a confirmation or reminder
email is stuck and failing to send, the webinar Overview tab shows a red row
for it instead of staying silent.
* **Undeliverable addresses come back to you** — when SureMail reports an address
as bounced, it is recorded on that lead, so your list stops carrying dead addresses.
CSV imports finish with a plain summary of what was added, what was skipped and
why.
* **Two settings actually save now** — the Usage insights and Advanced mode switches
on the General Settings page no longer reset on every reload.
* **The timezone picker is clickable in every browser** — in Safari the list looked
normal but nothing responded to a click; opening it now also shows the visitor’s
own timezone first.
* **Missing regional translations fall back sensibly** — languages without their
own file (for example English (South Africa), German (Switzerland), Spanish (
Chile), Portuguese (Angola)) show the closest complete language instead of silently
switching to English, with a plain note saying which one.
* **Names in mails are always filled** — a simple form captures one full name; {
FIRSTNAME}/{LASTNAME} are derived from it and the placeholder is never sent raw.
* **More placeholders** — {DATE} (date and time, one-off), {DATE_ONLY}, {TIME},{
TZ} and {CALENDAR}.
* **Date preview shows the weekday again** and “Check again” finds new releases.
#### Registration pages, cards and content
* **Card payment on the registration page** — card checkout runs through Stripe
PaymentIntents. The attendee stays on the page — no redirect, no leaving the
form — and the card is confirmed securely including 3D-Secure as an overlay.
The old token path (switched off by Stripe) is gone. If the payment start fails,
a clear message appears and the button stays usable, and the old card fields
are cleanly hidden.
* **No demo video on new registration pages** — templates 1 and 2 used to carry
a third-party sample video in the hero. It is removed; without your own video
the space stays empty instead of showing someone else’s.
* **Registration animation** — the registration hero is now a Gutenberg block pattern
with animation instead of a video placeholder; the AI planner no longer invents
a video or repeats the webinar title in the animation text.
* **Registration pages you can actually edit** — headline, sales copy and host
introduction are real, editable text on the page. Click and rewrite them like
any other paragraph, no hunting through settings tabs.
* **Your own photo on your registration page** — new pages show your host photo,
or your Gravatar, or no photo at all. Never a stock image of someone else.
* **Thank-you pages built the same way** — twelve new shortcodes carry the function
only, so the wording around them lives in the editor. All existing thank-you
shortcodes keep working exactly as before.
* **Better mail copy** — the AI gets clear guidance for teaser, CTA and button,
a headline formula and a tone anchor; a missing sender is flagged in yellow before
sending.
* **Shortcode panel across page builders** — the WI shortcode panel includes the
webinar grid with a ready-to-copy example, and minimal variants without built-
in text. Registration, grid, and footer shortcodes work reliably across classic
and block themes.
* **New webinars start on an editable landing page**, and picking a webinar in
the wizard and the assistant is a search field now. The block editor no longer
silently drops a once-applied landing template.

over time on the dashboard, so a quiet week is easy to tell apart from a page
that stopped working.

for the page to catch up. Long settings pages stay responsive while you type,
and each section opens the panel you clicked.
