Ticketleo Events

설명

The Ticketleo Events plugin lets you seamlessly integrate events from Ticketleo into your WordPress website.
Use the flexibility of WordPress blocks to promote events directly on your site and display custom views of your events.

To use this plugin, you need a Ticketleo account. If you do not have one yet, you can create one quickly and easily here. In addition, you must have created at least one event.

Core features

  • Integration with the Ticketleo API: The plugin connects directly to the Ticketleo API to load up-to-date event data. You can display events based on a user ID or an event ID without maintaining any content manually. All data is retrieved from Ticketleo in real time.

  • Three flexible view options: Choose between different display options to present the events on your website in an appealing way.

    • Tabular: Shows events in a clear table.
    • List: Ideal for a compact, vertical listing of events.
    • Tiles: A visually appealing tile view for a modern presentation.
  • Dynamic event loading: By simply entering a user ID or event ID, you can dynamically display events on your website. Changes made in Ticketleo are automatically reflected on your website.

  • Embed the reservation interface: For a seamless user experience, you can embed the native Ticketleo reservation interface directly into your website.

  • Customizable metadata display: Decide which additional information about an event should be displayed. You can show or hide metadata such as the event status or further information.

  • Easy integration into the WordPress block editor: With native support for WordPress blocks, you can add and configure Ticketleo events directly in the block editor of your site. Thanks to the editor preview, you immediately see how your events will look on the website.

  • Error messages and debugging in the editor: If there are problems with the event data or the API connection, detailed error messages are shown directly in the WordPress editor so you can react quickly and make adjustments. This information is only shown in the editor and never on the public website.

  • Reservation interface integration: With a simple checkbox and the event ID, you can integrate the Ticketleo reservation interface directly on your website.

Benefits for your WordPress site

Use of an external third-party service

This plugin uses the external third-party service Ticketleo to retrieve and display event data directly on your website.

Data exchange
When using this plugin, data such as event information and availability is retrieved from a third-party service. This data exchange takes place under certain circumstances, for example when a user makes a request to display event details.

  1. In your Ticketleo dashboard, open the “Overview” menu section and go to the “Events” category. There you will find the overview of all your events.
  2. At the top you will find a list of all your upcoming events. Pick any one of them to copy its event ID.

Error messages are generally shown in the block editor. Check the error message and act accordingly.

How can I customize the presentation of my events?

When you select the block in the block editor, you can choose one of three display options from a dropdown menu, such as a tabular view, list view, or tile view.
In addition, depending on the block, you can show or hide metadata such as the event status.

What happens if I enter a wrong user or event ID?

If an invalid user or event ID is entered, the plugin shows an error message in the block editor.
On the front-end page, nothing is displayed in this case.

Is my Ticketleo data up to date?

Yes, the plugin fetches the data directly from the Ticketleo API. If you make changes to your events in Ticketleo, they are automatically updated on your WordPress site.

How do I handle error messages?

  • “User 123 does not exist”: Check whether you entered your user ID correctly.
Verify that public event data exists on Ticketleo for the corresponding user.
  • “Event XYZ does not exist”: Check whether you entered the event ID correctly.
Verify that the corresponding event on Ticketleo is public and not hidden.
  • “Event XYZ is not public”: Check whether the event is public.
Hidden events are not returned by the API.
  • “You have not yet created any events”: Check whether your events are public.
  • “You have not yet created any performances”: Make sure you have created at least one event with at least one performance so it can be displayed at all.

How can I activate the reservation interface?

Select the “Single event” block and enable the “Integrate reservation interface” checkbox in the block settings. This loads the native Ticketleo reservation component directly on your page instead of the standard view options.

Important: Your domain must be authorized in Ticketleo for this. Open the desired event in Ticketleo, click “Integration” under “Configuration” in the left sidebar, enter the domain of your website (e.g. my-website.com) under “Domain“, and click “Add“. It can take up to five minutes until the authorization becomes active.

The reservation interface stays empty – what now?

Check whether your domain is authorized for the event under “Configuration → Integration”. Without authorization, Ticketleo blocks the embed. After adding the domain, it can take up to five minutes until the change becomes active.
