You can design your own post card in Elementor and use it as the template for every post in the grid. This template feature requires Elementor Pro, because each card is rendered through Elementor’s dynamic tags so that the title, excerpt, featured image, and ACF fields resolve to the correct post in the loop. Without Elementor Pro, the grid falls back to the built-in card layout, and all other features continue to work.

Do I need Elementor Pro?

If you want to design your own post card in Elementor and have the grid render every post through it, you need Elementor Pro, because the card relies on Elementor’s dynamic tags to pull each post’s title, excerpt, featured image, and ACF values inside the loop.
Elementor Pro is not required for anything else. With the free version of Elementor, the grid uses the built-in card layout, and AJAX filtering, pagination, custom taxonomies, custom post types, and ACF display all work as normal.
