ABDS Connect

설명

ABDS Connect forwards leads from your existing forms to a Telegram chat the moment they are submitted — so you never miss an enquiry. It does not add any forms of its own; it listens to the form plugins you already use.

Each message includes the page the lead came from and all of the submitted fields, formatted for quick reading.

Supported form sources

  • iDance Site Builder
  • Contact Form 7
  • WPForms
  • Fluent Forms
  • Gravity Forms

Self-contained — it does not modify your theme or other plugins, and stores nothing about your visitors beyond forwarding the lead you already collect.

Looking for live chat + AI?
A live website chat widget (with replies straight from Telegram) and an AI assistant trained on your business profile are available in the separate ABDS Connect Pro add-on, which requires a licence. The Pro add-on is not part of this free plugin and is distributed separately. Learn more at https://abds-seo.com/#connect.

External services

This plugin connects to the Telegram Bot API (https://api.telegram.org) to deliver your form leads to the Telegram chat you configure. A request is sent only when a form on your site is submitted (and, if you use the “Test” button, when you press it). Each request contains the lead data from that submission (the form fields and the source page URL) plus the bot token and chat ID you enter in the settings. No data is sent anywhere until you configure a bot token and chat ID.

Telegram is a third-party service; its use is governed by the Telegram Terms of Service (https://telegram.org/tos) and Privacy Policy (https://telegram.org/privacy).

변경이력

1.3.2

  • New: the iDance form source’s AJAX action name is now a setting (with a filter for programmatic use), instead of one specific site’s action name being hardcoded — any other site’s iDance install can now be recognised. A rejected submission’s action name is remembered and suggested on the settings screen.
  • New: a warning on the settings screen when leads are configured and enabled but none of the enabled form sources were actually found on the site — instead of leads silently never arriving.

1.3.1

  • New: the same quiet broken-local-translation check ABDS SEO added — if this plugin’s own translation is installed for your site’s language but isn’t actually being used, a one-time admin notice says so, without guessing at the cause.

1.3.0

  • New “Plans” screen: your current plan at a glance, a side-by-side Free/Pro comparison, and a direct link to buy — no more digging for what Pro actually includes.
  • Own icon and menu icon, and a settings screen that now shares its visual language (colours, spacing) with ABDS SEO — the two plugins read as one product.
  • Fully translatable: every piece of text this plugin shows you — the settings screen and the Telegram messages it sends you — now goes through WordPress’s standard translation system (ready for community translations via translate.wordpress.org).

1.2.2

  • Confirmed compatibility with WordPress 7.1. No functional changes.

1.2.1

  • Removed a third-party product’s internal codename from the detected-form-source label — now just “iDance Site Builder”. No change to the integration itself.

1.2.0

  • Redesigned the settings screen: native wp-admin cards in onboarding order (Telegram, detected form sources, licence).
  • Live bot connection status (checked against Telegram, cached — not on every page load) instead of a guess from whether a token is saved.
  • The bot token field is now write-only, like a password field: it’s never echoed back, so it can’t be accidentally cleared while editing other settings.
  • Replaced the old full-page “Test” button with an inline, AJAX “Send test message” that shows the real result without a page reload.
  • First-time setup now walks through creating a bot and finding your Chat ID instead of showing empty fields.

1.1.0

  • Split: the free plugin now covers leads Telegram only; live chat + AI moved to the separate ABDS Connect Pro add-on.
  • Removed the manual “enable Pro” toggle; Pro is unlocked by the Pro add-on and its licence.

1.0.0

  • Initial release: form leads Telegram (CF7, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms, iDance Site Builder).
