RankPush Connector is the official first-party plugin for RankPush. RankPush researches keywords, writes a month of articles, and — with this plugin installed — publishes them straight to WordPress on autopilot.
The plugin exposes a small, authenticated REST namespace (rankpush/v1) that only your RankPush account can call, using a single site-generated API key. It does what the standard WordPress REST API can’t:
- Writes the focus keyword, SEO title, and meta description to your SEO plugin (Rank Math, Yoast, or All in One SEO) so every article ships fully optimized.
- Side-loads the featured image into your media library.
- Keeps posts it created in sync on later edits, and never touches posts it didn’t create.
Fully automated. Articles publish live as RankPush writes them — no copy-paste, no extra clicks. Prefer editorial review? Switch to drafts-only mode on the plugin’s settings page and every article will wait in your admin for approval instead.
This is a clean-room GPLv2 implementation. It makes no outbound calls on its own; it only responds to authenticated requests from RankPush.

- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins Add New and search for “RankPush Connector”.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Go to Settings RankPush. Copy the generated API Key (starts with
rpush_). - In RankPush, open Settings Integrations WordPress, paste your site URL and the API key, and click Connect WordPress.
- (Optional) Prefer to review each article first? Untick “Allow RankPush to publish posts live” on the Settings RankPush page to receive drafts instead.

Do I need an SEO plugin?

No, but it’s recommended. If Rank Math, Yoast, or All in One SEO is active, the plugin fills their focus-keyword / SEO-title / meta-description fields automatically.

Will it publish articles live automatically?

Yes — that’s the point. Articles go live as RankPush writes them. If you’d rather review first, switch to drafts-only mode on the Settings RankPush page.

Is my API key safe?

The key is stored in your own database and required (in constant-time comparison) on every request. You can regenerate it at any time from Settings RankPush, which instantly revokes the old one.

What data leaves my site?

None. The plugin never initiates outbound connections; it only receives article content from RankPush over authenticated requests you control.
