Smart Maintenance Mode is a plugin which allows you to set your site to maintenance mode so that your readers see the Coming Soon page while you can see the actual development of your site. You can create ranges and define the IP range which will see the actual site using Smart Maintenance Mode.

This plugin doesn’t work. Simply disabling the plugin won’t help. Even after you uninstall this plugin your website will be broken forever. Do a backup before installing. Probably the worst plugin ever.

Great plugin.
One improvement suggestion: Make sure the labels match up to the checkboxes when selecting a user role, so you can click the label and the checkbox checks. You just need to wrap the text inside a [label for=”role_administrator”] html tag 🙂
