If you manage multiple websites, Hreflang Tag Pro seamlessly connects to our bespoke management platform at hreflangtagspro.com. By generating an API key in your account and adding it to the plugin settings, you can manage, compare, and update hreflang tags across all your connected sites from one intuitive central dashboard.
External services
This plugin can optionally connect to the Hreflang Tag Pro API to sync your data with your central dashboard at hreflangtagspro.com.
If you choose to connect your site using an API key, the following information is synced with the API:
– Your API Key
– Your Website URL
– Post/Page URLs, language/region codes, and their associated hreflang tag data
This connection allows for the seamless management, comparison, and updating of tags across multiple sites directly from your centralised hreflangtagspro.com account. No personal user data (such as emails or passwords) is sent to the API.

How to install the Hreflang Tag Pro Plugin:
- Upload the
hreflang-tag-profolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- (Optional for central management) Log in to your account at hreflangtagspro.com and generate your API key for this site
- Navigate to the Hreflang Tag Pro settings menu in WordPress
- Copy and paste your API Key into the field provided
- That’s it! You can now manage tags locally on your posts/pages, or centrally via your Hreflang Tag Pro dashboard
